Hello advice please!!!

Hi Ive just found this forum and hoping it will help!!!
Me and my hubby have been having unprotected s** for the last 5 months and nothing! Im quite new to all this and havent got a clue as ive spent years thinking you could get pregenant so easily and didnt want to! Now it has all changed and I cant beleiev how difficult it is!

My main problem is my periods they are very irregular. Over the past 6 months they have been 54 days, 39 days, 30 days, 41 days, 29 days and 44 days. I have bought a packet of the ovulation sticks put how on earth do i predict when i am going to ovulate?? Also this month i was particulary worried as i had quite funny discharge that was a dark brown colour on around 22 days. Sorry too much information I know!!! I have spoke to the doctors about my periods and they say it is nothing to worry about.
Any advice?

Hiya, I would start testing on day 9 of your cycle and go from there. Test the same time each day and do it in the afternoon, possibly round 2pm and try not to drink too much beforehand as you don't want to dilute your wee too much.
Also, fertility monitors help lots of people pin point the best time in their cycle.

Oh, and test each day, until you get a positive (yes you'll need to buy a lot of tests lol)

I advice you to consult a specialist (OBGYNE) they will going to give you a supplement to ovulate. I have same problem before, they give me a lot of supplements of course taking it on the right date as per prescription. And also take a folic supplemets. It will help you for the preparation of your ovary for conception, this is also good for the development of the fetus. Now I am expecting son this January 2011. Wish you all the best. Cheers.
