Headaches

Anybody else getting headache's? I have had one every day for the last 4 weeks - starting to get me down! It is also disturbing my sleep and am only getting 4 ish hours a night.

Yep! Although I'm lucky as mine only tend to last a few days, not weeks! I've been trying to take minimal paracetamol, but all that does is take the edge off!

Have you spoken to your midwife/doctor?

I'm having the same issue! Lots of cool water and getting fresh air usually helps me a little but there doesn't seem to be a good way to completely get rid of them :/

I suffered quite badly in the first 20 weeks of pregnancy.. My headaches would last days on end! I just kept myself well hydrated and took paracetamol when they got too bad - didn't like to take too many though!

But in the last 6 weeks, they are less frequent + seem to go quicker.. Not too much of a problem now..

Thanks guys! Midwife said see your GP and GP said sound like musculo skeletal problems as all other tests (BP and urine) were fine and may refer me for physio. Going to give it over the weekend and if I have another bad one i'll go back to the GP. At least I know i am not alone. xxx

i have loads of these - dr said they were tension headaches - they're horrible aint they x I find if i dont get enough sleep or get too much sleep they come on pretty quickly xx

I had such bad headaches for weeks, then at the end I got a an almighty migrane. Paracetamol is perfectly ok to take. I spent the first 15 weeks of this pregnancy refusing to believe they were but eventually the consultant persuaded me to take them every 6 hours as they then enter a therapeutic stage. I did this for 7 days and the head ache eventually lifted. plus I spent the time in agony from a cyst and looking back I wish I had listened! Silly me!
