Can babies have hayfever?

Her eyes have been bright red all round all day, runny eyes and lots of sneezes :?

My dad mentioned it as a possibility so though i would askl

i think so, James is like it too and my Mum said its prob hayfever. I find his sneezes so funny though, he makes little 'ahh' noise after each one

Angel has had a runny nose for ages now. She had a cold when she was tiny and doesn't really seem to have gotten rid of the snotty nose. So maybe she has a bit of hayfever too.

I think they can, I would ask your GP/HV about it, but I do know locally sourced honey is beneficial for children with hayfever, but honey isn't to be given to children under 1yr old as far as I'm aware, but worth looking into remedies for it if it is hayfever, hope she's better now, the pollen count is decreasing as grass seasons over I think

Yes, they can get heyfever and its bloody awful!

Fynn was poorly with it yesterday so took him to the docs and they prescribed baby piriton... I went into the chemists the day before and they only sell baby piriton for over 12 months old..but the doctor can prescribe it for babies from 1 month upwards!

Hope your LO isnt suffering too badly!

Ooooo what signs was Fynn displaying?

Nose like a tap.... eyes swollen and watery!

He's had it for 3 days now..and its awful..the doc said his throat inside is swollen too.. said that thats part of having heyfever.. I must admit the baby Piriton is helping him.. he has to take it on a morning and on a night.. makes him a little sleepy.. but at least its having an effect in making him better and its safe to give him!
