Had A Car Accident

Hi girls, ive just got home after having a car accident! Me and my OH were on the way to a restaurant to get some dinner and im not sure what happened but it was raining and my OH was braking for a intersection and the car locked up and we skidded up a curb and into bushes (we were inches away from hitting an electrical pole!) but were both ok i hit my head on the windscreen even though i was wearing my seatbelt and have a bit of a bump and cuts on my head (somehow i lost the end of my eyebrow aswell!) we had an ambulance come and they took some glass shards out of my head, luckily i only hit my head and the ambulance woman said my baby should be fine so i have checked my baby on the Doppler and it sounds fine so were very relived!! The cars written off as the front was all smashed up and the windscreen on my side has spidered where i hit it, im still abit shaken up by it but feeling happy to be home and all three of us be ok! x

I've been in a bad accident myself so I know how scary it can be. So relieved to hear that you're all okay! Take it easy, sometimes shock can take a while to come out so just get some rest ok?

Thanks girls, was really scary especially when i had blood dripping in my eye i realized id cut my head and felt scared but just sooo glad were all ok def think im going to have a quiet lie down now and lots of cuddles with OH wen he gets home (he had to wait for tow truck to pick up the car and drop it at his mums) Appreciate your replies! I'll pop off to bed now i think xx

Oh Missy...that sounds so scary. I am so glad to hear that you are all well. Please do take time to relax. I had a bad accident a couple of years ago and while I was physically fine apart from a few cuts and bruises, it did take a while to get over emotionally and I wished that I had given myself a few days to get over it rather then just going on as normal.

Gosh, i know its hardly the most important point here but AND you didnt get your lovely dinner out, no car, less eyebrow, big bump, bloody scary experience AND no lovely dinner !!! Glad your okies !!
