Had my 36 week midwife appointment this week, and I'm now stressing about my midwife unit, water birth going out of the window!
Has anyone else had experience of growth scan at 36 weeks due to baby being small? I had 2 in my last pregnancy due to small measurements again, but it was picked up earlier so had one at 31 weeks & one at 33 weeks and was then declared ok & back to midwife led.
My midwife initially said before she measured me at this appointment that I would need a growth scan anyway as my daughter was on the 10th centile at birth - all seems rather ott to me, straightforward natural birth and DD was 6lb 10, so not ridiculously small at all! And then when she did my measurement bump size hasn't changed since last time so I'm booked in for a scan on Friday.
I suppose what I'm worrying about is that it's so late this time - with my last pregnancy they said a scan is only really useful if they scan you again two weeks later - I will be 38 weeks by then.
Just needed to get it off my chest, thanks if you've read this! I reallyyyyyyyy want my midwife led unit so everything needs to be perfect! X
