Got to tell you all my fantastic news!

Just wanted to share this with everyone.

Found out this morning that I have passed my nursing finals! So thats it, I am now officially a fully qualified nurse. I just have to sit out another 6 weeks of placement and then I have finished the course.

I am so chuffed! And I also found out this morning that I have a job interview for a staff nurse post so was extra made up about that too.

Congrats! ive just returned to my training and now finishing my placement (just got this week left), just as well i did have a year out as down here their are no jobs what so ever for the people who are now qualifing!! so hopefully by the time i qualify next August it should have sorted itself out!!!

Where are you on your placement? im in ITU at the mo, finding it really interesting!

I've just finished my community and then going to day theatres for 6 weeks. There are no jobs down here at all. The only reason I have an interview is because it is the place where I used to work before I started training! Apart from that, there is nothing in my area which is a nightmare.

Never got an ITU placement but most of my friends did and I hear its quite good. Scary though! x

They don't paint nursing as a good career at the monent but i love my job it just all the politics associated with it thats crap. enjoy xx

Im going back to uni in march to do my conversion, from RGN to RMN, my employees gonna pay me full time money to go to uni for a year BARGIN lol!!!!!

Hey Hels!

I was also a seconded student from my trust so they too paid me full time wages to go to uni which was wonderful! My friend has also just passed and she did mental health. It sounds fascinating - kinda wishing I had done that too. And so far, she has been offered two jobs!
