Ive been looking at college websites all day..'Umming and arring' about whether to go back or not..Im going stir crazing being stuck in the house with my mother in law who has alzheimers..Shes very annoying at times, but i suppose its not her fault:roll:

I started college back in 2011 but had to leave near the end as i got pregnant at the beginning of the course!, my son is now 14 months..He came as a huge surprise so i was quite shocked and quite sad i had to give up college quite close to my due date :(..My teachers we're lovely and totally understood when i needed time off for midwife appointments and scans but if i did go back im scared of using them as a reference incase they say something bad about me and the amount of time i had off :(..My minds spinning around on itself trying to reassure me it'll be okay and that there not allowed to say anything bad!..And im also not getting any younger..I turned 24 last month :|

I already have a 2 year qualification in the subject i want to go back and do!..Surely that'll go in my favour!..And then i have the guilt about leaving my son for the day with OH :\

What do i do :(..Anyone else go back to college when their kids we're older or did they just throw in the towel..Im dying to know!

Thanks guys :)

I got pregnant in the April/may of the college year and started doing home studying from being 8 weeks as morning sickness ruined me lol. All I did was pop in with work and picked assignments up every now and again. I went back to college in the September, finished middle of December and had my LO in January. I then went back 2 days a week and managed to come out with excellent grades :)

My MIL had my LO during the days and I did my work at night when LO was in bed. I didnt actually find it too hard to be honest and im glad I went back as it meant I got the qualifications to get the good job I have now and also the opportunity to go to uni xx

Thanks for the reply :D, Im quite lucky in the sense i didn't get morning sickness..Just the early mornings in pregnancy that ruined me LOL

I might just go ahead and apply and ask what hours I could do and if they'd work around my son :)
