i'm stuck - your help is much appreciated.

I love isabella but I automatically thought of Mr Darcy with the other.

i agree mr darcy came straight to mind but isabella is lovelyxx

I know a little girl called Dary and I love the name.
Mind you, I (obviously) prefer names that are a little bit unusual.

I voted Isabella but I do like Darcy.

Much like everyone else my first thought was Mr Darcy but once you get over that it's a lovely name.

I think Darcy is a really lovely name. Its really pretty.

lisa xx

thanks ladies.. alot of people think of Mr Darcy... when i suggest that one! DH is happy with both so it's up to me... i'm still undecided...

Who the heck is Mr Darcy?! I love the name Darcy, but DF wouldn't let me have it for a girl as he thinks it sounds like a female police officers name!! LOL

Darcy is beautiful, and makes me think of the ballerina Darcy Bussell (sp?)

but, like Urchin I prefer more unusual names! Isabella is pretty, makes me think of a Victorian girl with lovely ringlets, a very girly girly name

Have voted Darcy though :D

i got the name from the ballerina.. darcy bussell.. but not many people know her...they all relate the name to Mr Darcy....

i like isabella as it can also be shortened to issy which i don't mind...

people say i'll know when i see him/her....
x

I bet you will. If she's a sweet, feminine ickle girl - Issy.

If she's a more spirited, spunky (soz, HATE that word but can't think of a better one :rotfl:) ickle sprite - darcy might suit!

I'm stuck between two names for my boy (Stanley or Frank) and am expecting a bolt of inspiration lightening in the delivery room! :D

I love Darcy.

Sami Mr Darcy is the main male character out of pride and prejudice. Most famed for the Coiln Firth portrayal when he came out of a lake wearing a shirt, britches and nothing else. Not a Colin Firth fan but that scene is classic.

I agree with exactly what LittleMinx has said - even down to the use of the word Spunky!!!! :rotfl:

Seriously though, Isabella is more girly, and Darcy seems more... well, spunky!

I do like them both hun.

52% isabella and 47% darcy - how does that add up? (99%)??????

still undecided... i'll have to wait till LO arrives and see if she is a little girly girly or a little more spunky... :D

might be a boy anyway!!!!
