I obviously haven't had it that bad, but had a bill off Powergen for something crazy like £800 or something. I was on a meter which I paid for cards to go in, so how could I owe anything?!

Turned out they hadn't changed my name when I moved house, and since the landlords hadn't been topping up the electric, it somehow went into arrears.

its like what hyndburn council did.. they sent a 1p bill to the relative of a dead person and they HAD to pay it!
