In neonatal I was told 3 months in freezer and once defrosted only 12 hours xx

Different guidelines say different things I think, and it depends how good your freezer is (theres a star rating system thingy I think?)

Defrost at room temp I'd guess xx

6 months in freezer, ie not a ice box of fridge - then 24 hours once defrosted. Although less if you heat to defrost iykwim. X

You can heat to defrost (I saw them
Do this in NICU)

I defrosted it as and when I needed it. And I did it using a jug of hot water. It takes seconds literally
