Hassan hated the texture of fishfingers coz it's quite rough on the outside!! he just cringed when it touched his mouth but i will not give up and will try it again!

Lydia had fishfingers for the first time today - she ate most of 1, but kept spitting out the second.
Mind you, she was spitting everything out, the potatoes, the veg, everything, so I don't think it's a sign that she disliked fishfingers.

I peeled the breadcrumbs off for her though and just gave her the fish.

Ive never heard this before but my mum told me that when I was very young (canne remember the age) and me and bro had had fish fingers we got tummy upset, she took us to the Dr and went through what we had eaten and the Dr told her never to give us fish fingers again as they were terrible food to give to babies/toddlers. She cant remember why he said the reason was now (it was 25 yrs ago lol) but just always remembers never daring to give us FF for this reason. I acutally remember asking for some when I was bout 8 and she said no....lol

Anyone else heard of this ^^^

I suppose they aren't ideal for young babies because they're processed? Don't know what the salt content is in them
