Don't look and yes take a tissue. The nurse told me that they make a little noise you won't of heard before and she was right it warlike a baby bird screaming. But I then gave her the rest of her bottle and a long trip in the car ( she loves the car) and she slept all afternoon. Then bubble bath when she woke up to take the plasters off her legs.
They are fine it's you that won't do so well. Macy has her 3 ones on the 4th July and it's 3 so I am going to really cry at that one.
I stood outside while daddy stayed in the room holding Max.
Lots of cuddles and calpol will do the trick, Max had a temp for two days (and it was over that hot weather too) so I made sure I kept him cool and just left him to sleep as much as possible.
Not all babies react so you could be fine. Good luck xxxxxx
try and keep calm happy and smiley yourself (on the outside at least!) then baby will hopefully see there is nothing to it! Holly was fine, slept the whole afternoon after hers.
Awww, good luck - I hated this part! On the plus side, my LO never batted an eye lid and never had any sort of reaction after - in fact he was absolutely fine. It was me that was a mess LOL! Try and stay calm because LO will pick up on it if you are freaking out and dont look! Best of luck, hope all goes well
