Hi everyone I hope all are well.
me and my partner went for our first antinatel on Monday and it was great.
We met our consultant for the first time who gave me the general check over and discussed my dvt history, he really put my mind at rest and has advised that I only have to take low dose asprin daily to stop my blood sticking. after the birth I will have to inject daily for 6 weeks heperin injections to prevent any dvt which may occur.
Then to my utter excitement he said right jump on the bed and lets take a gander at this baby
my second scan in 5 days I had one on the previous wedensday, was totally shocked and in awe at the fact it had moved totally different posistion and was moving his/her arms.
He then proceeded to turn the monitor up to listen to the heart beat WOW WOW was all my partner could utter, and I was so much awe I couldnt speak.
We left there feeling totally excited and in awe more so then seeing the baby for the first time I think seeing and hearing at the same time did it for me.
