Keep going with it. I was the same as I was still badly bruised.
I started noticing a difference after about 6-8 weeks, once my stitches were healed and the bruising had gone down.
Now at 20 weeks everything feels back to normal.

im excatly the same.. 4 weeks old baby and i do my pf exercises religiously but still dont feel as strong as i was and i had a look down there the otehr day and my stitches are healed but i feel reli open still and it looks huge compared to before sorry tmi!

Just keep up with the pf excersises and don't ever strain on the loo!! If there is a weakness already there it can cause prolapse, and then that's a problem for life (I'm speaking from experience unfortunately) get lactulose from docs and pleanty of water x

As others have said, just keep trying! I found them very difficult but kept it up and now things feel totally normal :) (10 weeks on)
