Excited and nervous

We've booked a private scan! We're going tomorrow, when I'll be approx 8 weeks. I couldn't wait until 12/13 weeks... my brother and his gf had a terrible time with their first son (when sadly ended in a stillbirth at 36 weeks) and it really worries me. I know that every pregnancy is different but I'm still hoping this 8 week scan will put my mind at rest.

Tomorrow evening we are having both sets of parents over for dinner, on the pretence of watching our wedding dvd...and (fingers crossed that all is well) we'll be breaking the news to them! I'm really excited about this part!

I'm at work today, and just trying to keep busy/keep my mind off things so that the day doesn't drag too much..!

I had a private scan at 7+4 it was amazing and well worth the cost to put your mind at rest. I had an ectopic in 2007 was very nervous til I had the scan and knew all was well.
