England, what a load of Sh**

i dont agree with the topic title, i think we held on very well after rooney was sent off and beckham went off...i think we showed a good game in the 2nd half but when it came to the cut their goalkeeper was VERY good in penalty situations.

the bloody boys crying on the pitch set my hormones right off!!!  haha xxx

That was gut wrenching! I knew if it came down to a penalty shootout it would be all over. Thats what I hate about footy. Whats the point of running around on the pitch for 2 hours when it all comes down to that? They may as well not bother playing the game and just do the bloody shootout!

I shed a tear

i think the tittle was VERY harsh the boys tried there hardest even tho rooney was sent off and i dont believe he should have been and if we didnt have to retake the pen i think we would have gotten thro silly arge bast*rd as my dad calls em
annd u could tell mby beck and every1 by them crying how much they had tried and wanted it
SO WELL DONE BOYS :D:D:D

i agree, i think we played really really well, especially without rooney and beckham! Lennon is a star in the making i reckon!

tell you what though, that ronaldo really does my head in, i absolutely cant stand him!! he's so smug all the time!!

i think rooney should give him a good smack when they get back to united lol

They played soo well after Rooney got sent off & so deserved to win , its not fair .... Im a bad looser.

Rio was sobbing

:(

Watched it with OH and his mate, I made a right div of myself bawling-John Terry set me off-he was heartbroken! OH and mate couldnt even speak for half an hour afterwards, I just sat there snivelling into a hankie (bloody hormones!!  )

We didnt deserve to lose, I thought we held on really well with 10 men and played their heart and souls out...Dont think Rooney really meant to stamp down-right in front of ref so would of been a silly thing to do on purpose

I hate penalties, my heart was going like the clappers!! Its a cruel way of deciding a winner-and I think today England were the most deserving of being the winner after the second half performance.

Gutted     xxxx

Totally agree, at the end of the day given all the fiasco with England, they were the better team, and they played very well and we should all be really proud of them as they should be of themselves!!!

I think it is wicked when a game like that comes down to penalties, it is at times like this I think they should have a point scoring thing like boxing...........with all the diving bloody portugal did, we would have walked it, and there's another thing, the ref was bloody quick to give cards out to our lot, what about the portugese that were trying their luck on the floor??? They should have been booked straight away as a lesson to the others!

Rant over, I'm not bitter!!!!! :fib:

ENGLAND!!!!!!!

me too, its soooo upsetting seeing grown men cry

its supposed to be a 'Team' game, it shouldn't matter if a player gets sent off they should work as a team and get round it.

After all the riots out there with england 'supporters' can't say i'm very proud to be english

when beckham started crying all i wanted to do was give him a hug... and cop a feel of his bum... but mainly give him a hug. Bless him he looked so upset.
