Early Scan 7+4

yay great news! at 7 weeks+ i am pretty sure it's jelly on ur belly I went for a scan few days ago and it turns i was 5 weeks something she offerend an internal i refused so had the jelly on my belly but not much was seen! she told me to come back on the 25th, i will be 7 weeks+ by then and it's supposed to be normal scan and probably would be able to hear heart beat as well.

I had one at 8 weeks and its jelly on the belly. She said: 'We don't do internal scans here.' Like it was something I was craving for and would be bitterly dissapointed!

Anyhoo is it just amazing. We saw our Pip and saw and heard its galloping heartbeat and everything

I too had an early scan at 8wks + 4 when i had my bleeding and it was jelly on the tummy andw e got a clear view of bubs albeit a little blob

I had a scan done at 7+2 when I was bleeding and it was an internal.

Ooh it sounds like it could go either way then.... I'm not absolutely sure of my dates due to irregular cycles so would they try external then do internal if necessary do you reckon? It's Babybond I'm going to...

Not sure hun - here in Ireland you can't get an abdominal before 11 weeks, it's always a transvaginal. The sonographer yesterday said that given my level of anxiety she was surprised I had waited till 11 weeks to have a scan. I replied that this was the first pregnancy where I hadn't been in the EPU and I wasn't too keen on internals. Yeuch.

Hope it's jelly on the belly for you hun.
