Im due today no signs of anything happening yet.


I know its normal to go over with your first i just wish that there would some kind of sign that she is at least planning on meeting us

I have an appointment on the 8th to discus inducing me does anyone know what they are likely to say or do?

hey im like you im meant to be due today but still no signs of her coming the only thing shes doing is kicking me lol i just hope she hasn turned lol back to breeched grrr but when she moves i get this weird sensation down stairs lmao hard to explain lol

Hope something happens for you soon! Not sure what they'll do at your appointment as some places will offer you a sweep and some won't as they're less effective with a first baby. At my appointment with Sam when I was overdue they just booked a date for my induction. I went into labour on my own the day before though Good luck!

i had a sweep wednesday just gone but they could get to the membrane lol they made me an appointment to og for a doppler scan next week so hopefully they induce me they sed that they were going to do it wednesday just gone but changed there minds but it gets on my nerves lol coz my baby is on the small side and weigh roughly about 6 lb and they keep saying each week there there oging to induce me. worse thing was xmas eve i was due for a c section coz she was breeched but they cancelled due to her turning herself around lol

There is a theory that baby will arrive when you least expect it and when you are relaxed. Try a nice relaxing bath and curl up infront of a DVD, never know, it could work xx

i was 11 days late with my son when i got induced....

when i went in for my appointment i was already 3cm dilated and i didnt have a clue!
they asked if i wanted to get started off or go home then come back if anything develops, i decided to get induced i wanted my wee boy!!

they do all there checks, book you in etc then do an internal and use a hook type thing (not painfull) to pop your waters then give you huge fanny pads lol and tell you to walk about...

as soon as they popped my waters contractions started lol, within 8hours i had my son...

my midwife said that the best way to bring baby on is intercourse... i thought she meant the actual 'penetration' lol but she said theres something in the semen or something... try that!!! my aunt had sex 4 weeks b4 she was due and went into labour an hour later lol ... he was perfectly healthy and nearly 7lbs so fully cooked id say xxx

my midwife told me the other not to hve sex if the plug comes y coz apparently an infection cn get in. ive tried it lol but its a lil uncomfy lol tmi there lol
