don't you think these TV shows are embarrassing?

I always wonder why people chosse to appear on shows like How to have sex after marriage etc... and discuss their private lives in front of million sof viewers! Don't get me wrong i admire their courage and i know it benefits them, but i would NEVER feel comfortable discussing my sexual issues on TV!


Which of these do you think is the most embarrassing one?

Eeek, I've never heard of any of the programmes except how to look good naked - but by the titles I can't see me going on any of them!

I'd like to go on how to look good naked because the women seem to come off with so much more self confidence! I wouldn't care about the sex thing either- me and OH will quite freely admit we don't have sex as much as we used to!

I couldn't have people looking at my poo though! That's one thing I like to keep to myself (I bet I poo in labour now!! )

I put all of them, but especially Embarrassing Illnesses. Watched it last year and couldn't believe people were willing to get their diseased bits and stuff out on tv. What I don't get is why, if they say they are too embarrassed to go to their own GP, they then display their illness on national tv??

I saw Gok in Zara Oxford Street one day.
I looked at him and thought "hang on a minute I know this man"

But at the time the How to look good naked series weren't on TV yet so i couldn't remember which programme he was from but i knew he was a TV personality

All of them, I sit here watching programmes sometimes and I will laugh, take the p*ss out of people or they annoy me and I really wouldn't want the whole world to have an opinion on me and things like these programmes are personal esp having sex, thats an intimate thing that happens behind closed doors and looking good naked, why would you want the whole world to see your body if you don't think you look good naked Sometimes I think these people who do it think they will be famous after.

I think they are paid for it either that or they are illnesses that they haven't been able to get over and they are getting the help they need via going on the programme.

Yeah I was thinking they must be getting paid for it. I think it is quite a positive thing in that people with similar embarrassing problems may watch it and realise there's nothing to be embarrassed about by going to their GP as it's fairly common, or that a problem they've had for years is really easily treated etc.

You missed out sex with mum and dad!!! Thats another one i would be avoiding!! I cant even watch it let alone appear on it!!

Oh and i watched shameless with baby daddies mum once, it was not good!! She'd not watched it before and tryign to explain what was going on whilst all the sex was happening was so embarrassing!!!

It's silly though they feel the need to let them get that bad and see a programme as their only way to fix them because they really are easily sorted.

Okay yes parents should be open with their kids and explain things and talk but alot of the stuff on there is not needed! Like show sexual positions and say the ones you have done!!! I would hate that!
