on an evening when Dylans been feeding lots i always feel a bit out of it. my body feels really light, i have a very dull stomach ache, feel very VERY tired more than normal, and just slightly faint and whoozy. i just dont feel right. do you get this? its moreso on nights where hes fed more.

You need to eat more when you are breastfeeding so it could be you feel like that due to lack of food.

Hope you feel better soon

ok thanks for the speedy reply il do that.

Dylans been feeding now for an hour and 25 mins and still going. i feel so tired i dont think i could stand up just yet. i shouldnt be this tired, Dylans been sleeping really well and i havnt been doing much through the day. doesnt sound right does it?

I know how you feel. From about 6-11pm Finlay used to do the same and its hard but stick at it. Get OH to get you some snacks and sit and chill out. Remeber to drink too.

Its tiring being a new mum and breastfeeding. Rest when he's asleep and you'll be back to normal soon ;)

The tummy ache could be your tummy tightening, when I bfed it always felt a bit strange and I was told that that was normal :)

Sounds like you need some rest and some yummy food :) strawberries are goood :) lol xxxxxxx

Dont forget you need to drink lots of fluids when breastfeeding so it could be dehydration too.

definatly! omg i remember that feeling... its horrible.. definatly eat more hun.. have a nice warm horlics or hot chocolate to.. line your tummy with something milky if you cant manage to eat much. cereal is always a good one you can get lots of vitamines from it and if you eat porriage it will not only fill you but oats are really good for feeding to

if he's feeding that much you could be getting low on iron

I still take my pregncare tablets, i stopped for a while but started to feel drained so am back on them now and feeling better :D
