Hi there,

I'm currently writing an essay on the possible risks and their factors of pregnancy related health issues.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could shed some light on which disorders and diseases can be found ONLY after the 2nd trimester (including after the baby is born).

Disorders and diseases that can't be detected in the first 28 weeks of pregnancy, not by scans or any other possible test.

Thank you in advnace,
Anna Kirchek.

Preeclampsia is usually found after the first trimester, and can also occur after delivery.
You can get dangerously high blood pressure, rashes, Obstetric cholestasis - effects the liver.. All sorts really

I think most things can be detected

There's a heart condition, begins with a p but cannot for the life of me remember. Can't be detected well into pregnancy & often goes undetected & can be fatal. Has symptoms a lot like normal pregnancy issues like breathlessness etc.
