I dont see a problem with her disability at all! I dont think she's a very good presenter, but thats got nowt to do with the fact that she's only got on arm. Its a shame the parents who've complained cant reassure their kids and teach them to accept disabilities.

Lou started this thread a while back viewtopic.php?f=68&t=109388 and no one even mentioned it being a problem! We just said we wwish the old presenters would come back

I never even noticed til OH pointed it out!
Yet the bloke on CBBC in the wheelchair hasn't had a problem!
TBH i don't think it'll scare kids unless people are saying things to them Children are more accepting of things like this.

tbh i wouldn't even describe her as disabled!

doesnt look like its affecting her at all.

I just think its daft...Beth watches cbeebies with me and Iz, and with her being 7 i thought she'd say something, but she didnt even notice! And if she had i would've just explained about it. Nothing scary about it really :?

I think it's tragic that parents aren't able to explain to their children what's wrong with her arm.
Arm or no arm, she is rubbish though. She just has zero personality.

I miss Chris :(

Stanley hasn't even noticed her arm. The cynic in me wonders if her and the Welsh guy are ticking boxes for the BBC though, I've seen nothing so far to suggest they got their jobs on merit. They are charisma-less!!

I saw that on yahoo news and think its disgusting that parents are complaining about her. as my bf said its like parents complainingn about a presenter being black - its pure discrimination!

What a shallow world we live in.
