Did I ovulate?

I have been tracking my BBT since Dec 12. I started using OPK on CD8. Yesterday was CD15 and I have not gotten a positive OPK result. I tested twice a day. This AM, I get a BBT of 97.86 when yesterday it was 97.45. Did I miss my ovulation? I was jusy at the ob/gyn yesterday morning and she mentioned that I probably ovulated later in my cycle, but 15 days isn't that much later. I took another OPK right before this post and its still negative. Trust me, I'm being very careful to make sure I test correctly so that the results are easy to read. But I can't help but feel like it happened and I missed it.

Also, I have not had a lot of EWCM. In fact, its been hardly there at all. Last night when I checked, there was a tiny bit there and it was a little brown. When I googled it, I found that it could be from the egg bursting from the follicle and causing some bleeding.

I don't know what is going on!!!

Side note: OH was out of town all week for business, so this month was strictly me learning more on how to track ovulation rather than baby making. He comes home today so we will definitely dtd since I possibly ovulated yesterday.

Could anyone ease my mind?

How long are your cycles usually? It is possible that you ovulate later than the standard. I have really long cycles so I would typically ovulate when others are moving onto their second period! I was doing OPKs twice daily and BTT each morning and I found that I was putting too much pressure on myself so I stopped it all. My temp went up and down far too much for it to give a stable reading and I have only ever had one positive OPK in the whole time I have been TTC. Good luck with it, keep dtd whenever the mood takes you or whenever you can and baby dust to you!

My cycle is typically 27-28 days. My ob/gyn told me yesterday to jusy dtd every other day starting from CD6 to CD19. I think I'll just do that and stop tracking as well. I think it is also adding stress for me.

Thank you, my dear!

Good luck with it. I cant be on with the stress and the disappointment when I never get a positive OPK so this way I dont know when I should be upset!
