I'd say she's reacting to either the extra warmth or she can feel you there any its a newish experience so she kicks against it. It is lovely tho, my little one tends to stop moving when anyone but me touches my bump! my shy little boy.

My LO does the same and she never used to with OH until recently but now she reacts to us both which is nice I read somewhere that they like it when you stroke or touch your belly :S duno how true that is xx

Its an amazing feeling isnt it?

Our little girl used to always kick whenever oh put his head near her belly... it was funny because the first time he did it she kicked him in the side of the head and we thought it was just a coincidence but now she does it every time without fail!

I read that it can be soothing for your baby if you gently massage your tummy in circular motions so she enjoys massaging cream into my belly after a bath just as much as i do... a nice little treat for us both!

I've been wondering about this too, I get it every time I touch my bump. I also get it if anything else goes near bump, like if I lean too heavy on the kitchen work surface he/she goes off its head kicking the work surface away, or if any object is near my stomach.
