I can't think of much else u could say Hun I'm sure the first appointment is fairly general. Good luck with it :-) x

best of luck sweetie, tell us all what happens when you get back and whether there is anything else we will need to ask or take with us xx

Aw, glad it went well hun, how exciting now the ball's rolling :yay: x

Glad it went well, I've got my first midwife app tomorrow as well, not looking fwd to the bloods part!

I had my midwife cancel my first appointment today but she rung me at home and asked a few questions, she wasnt impressed that I didnt know my last period but I am very irregular. I mentioned that I had taken the test that gives a date and it had said 2 -3 or doctors 4-5 and she said "well i dont know anythign about the home tests" in a really funny manner. Why is my midwife a nasty pasty :wall2:

Think the digis are about right mine said 2-3 or doctors 4-5 and it was right. Think some midwives think everyone writes down their periods, I didn't have a clue how far I was with my daughter!

Good luck with the interview, you never know you might still get it. Sounds like your midwife might have been half asleep!

Glad it went well for you. It is a funny time just now, lots of people seem to be out of work and makes it harder to know what to do while your pregnant. I'm due to start my masters at uni in august, I plan to still go for it as I don't want to wait another year but it is worrying me I might not be able to cope. Do you plan to work after you have the baby? If so it's probably best to keep on going for interviews so at least you seem keen, lots of employers keep records of people that are suitable for future jobs so they might keep you on their records for later on or even for a job share with another mother.
