I've got some winnie the pooh curtains that I've been wanting to hang in Lydia's room for ages now because her room is pooh-themed, but they aren't lined and would let too much light in.

Does anybody know what I could do to line them? I can't sew for toffee myself. Do you suppose a dressmaker would be able to do it?

Have you tried your local drycleaners??? They normally have ppl who can do that stuff...

ooh really? cheers hun I'll try there

You could buy a blind to go in the window behind them. Finn has got a blind and blackout curtains and his room is still light. My parents are in that "industry" so my mum does them for us fortunately!

I think getting curtains lined can be really expensive :( We are going to put a blackout blind behind ours too as i think it will be cheaper than lining them

Im going for a blind too!
Argos do them I think and it will probably be cheaper than paying someone to line the curtains.

hmm yeh I had thought of blinds before but I have no idea how to put blinds up
I'm so horribly undomesticated lol
