Constipation/straining

Our little four-week-old seems to be having problems getting numbers twos out, bless him. He does daily poos, but always seems to have a battle getting them out. He'll lay there in his basket making these awful straining noises, and go all red in the face. It helps if we lift his legs in the air and make cycling movements, but has anyone else had similar problems with their babies?

yeah my third use to be the same a lil water could help boiled and cooled
