Hi All. I have always been confused about this and i am hoping someone could explain it to me. When you see EWCM does it mean ovulation is starting or will start or has started and the follicle has released the egg already? Sometimes i find my ewcm lasts for 5 days or so. Is this normal

From what I understand it's a sign ovulation is occurring or working up towards it (TMI but mine usually has a pattern that goes creamy, wet, ewcm, wet, creamy ect).

Are you sure it's still ewcm ? You can produce a simular fluid from being aroused or you could just produce more. I've had it last over 4 days before, even longer when I took primrose oil. x

I agree with SpiriredAway - My understanding is that ewcm occurs before you ov. Immediately after it dries up you ov. The cm carries the little swimmers to the egg.... I'm no expert mind and everyone is different.
Xx
