I thought the second payment came when they are 7/8 can't remember which :D xx

i didn't know about a second payment. And why do people on benefits get more for their child? Thats not fair.

Errrr no. And I got told I'm no longer entitled to childrens tax credit. :x
Robbing B&$^£%&*^%!!!!

I used to get a childrens allowance on my tax which was a reward for working, basically I had a higher tax code. Then they changed it to childrens tax credit and now they've robbed me of that *humph*

Just had a look and you get another £250 on the childs 7th birthday and people on low incomes will get an additional £250 on top of that xx

i think that people on a low income should only get the same as us. After all its for the child whenb it reaches adulthood. Whos to say they won't be a millionaire by then

you must be earning loads though.

I earn a modest amount, not the point though, I used to get a higher tax code as I had a child and they changed the system to CTC and I feel they have underhandedly taken away that little reward.

i totally agree with budge i dont see why people on benefits should get more :?
