Child Benefit increase....whooo bloody hoooo!

Just had a letter saying Isaac's Child benefit is going up from £18.10 a week to a whopping £18.80 a week

I'll use it to pay off my enormous water bill

Lol I got that letter 2 weeks ago. I think they're trying to sweeten us up after all that happened with peoples info going missing!
Its meant to be going up again next year to £20 a week

how pointless giving everyone a few pence. I'm sure the admin costs of sending everyone a letter telling them about the increase are more per person than the actual increase itself!


They'd be better off witholding the increase and having a lump sum to put into schools or something
