Cheques question

I have a cheque thats due to clear tomorrow, would it clear at midnight or does it clear in the morning?

I would imagine midnight - when I get paid it is in by midnight

When i get my jobseekers money it doesnt come in at 12 but its always in by 6 so was wondering when it was cheques cleared.
