changing hospitals

I'm moving even further from my hospital so I've been advised by everyone (including midwife) to change hospitals!

she explained what i should do, and told me that my new hospital will go through the whole process of booking me again etc. it sounds a bit long, but i've gotta do it!

has anyone done this before? is it a real hassle?

I changed hospitals a few weeks ago basically as I decided to go to a hospital further away for my EPU side of things as wasnt happy with the treatment at my local hospital when I had my miscarriage.

When I reached 12 weeks I asked my midwife to transfer me and I got a letter a few weeks later with an appointment for booking and a scan. Basically you have your booking appointment again and they will probably take bloods again as I was told they cant transfer them so have to take them again but other than that everything should just carry on as normal I would have thought but at a different hospital.

Im not sure as it was earlier that I transfered but I cant see it being too much messing around hun x
