Can I give my baby water?

According to our electric thermometer the temperature in here is 27 degrees and we're trying to cool it down by having all windows and doors open and a fan on. Poppy is wearing only her nappy and has been grizzling for the past couple of hours and nothing seems to settle her.

Is it ok to give a 7 week old baby cooled boiled water? I think because of the heat that her milk just isn't quenching her thirst! If so, how much should I give her?

I used to give my Lo it he had a couple of oz tops but not sure what they recommend max. Water won't harm her but you don't want to give her too much that she won't still have her milk

Oh I forgot to mention if she is Bf she shouldn't need it anyway

Yeah you can give baby cooled down boiled water.

I was advised this for constipation at around 5 weeks. She should still take her feeds ok. Think they advised 2/3ml
