Can anyone recommend a good food processor?

I had one a few years ago, but not since I moved to the UK. I've been wanting one for awhile now, but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to spend a fortune, but I'd rather spend a little more and get one that works well than pay less and be disappointed. I'd like to use it now, but also for making baby food one day.

Does anyone have a food processor they would recommend? Thanks in advance.

I had a Kenwood one for over 20 years till it gave up on me a few months back

I use a hand blender to puree baby foods. Much easier washing up and cleaning wise also. Just steam the veggies or fruit etc and then put into the blender pot and away you go. I usually make enough to freeze a batch into ice cube trays. Much easier than a food processor IMHO.

The hand blender I have at the moment cost £10 in Woolworths. Made by Braun.
