to be honest hun i never let the girls sleep with me either, i made them sleep in their moses basket then cots.
what i use 2 do was put them down when they were settled and let them sleep, once they woke up and was fed changed etc id put them back down n if they cried id just stroke their face put their dummy in and stand their untill they settled again
