hows everyones scars now???? and what sort of stiches did you have?

i had a pull out stitch and my scar looks really well now you cant even notice it! i thought it was going to bee horrid

Hi Hev

My scar looks really good. I had the pull out stitch as well with the beads. Last week was told I had an infection and given antibiotics which I havent taken. Been having salt water baths instead and now the little sore bit has healed fine. Was where they did the scar to tight when lying down and the bead went under the skin on one side. Scar feels good now as well. Only thing I am getting and dont know if anyone has, is a lot of muscle aching higher up in my stomach. Think I over did it the other day as OH went back to work.

my scar is ok i had the disolvable stitches still have no feeling in that area of skin though

My scar is pretty good! Can hardly see it now just a white line. I had the stitches that dissolved. Have seen people mentioning numbness on the scar area, I still have it now and it's been over 15 months so I wouldn't worry. It's something to do with cutting the nerves.

I don't know how they did it but they stitched me up from the inside! They did it right on my bikini line so you can't see it at all now. To be honest I had more problems with the ingrown hairs than the scar

 

I had 20 staples and the day after I left the hospital (when Lennon was 5 days old) the midwife took them out and it felt like she was tugging me - she was a bit rough with me and it still feels really sore and numb down there but the scar itself has healed really well and very quickly. It is still very black and blue mind. I still can't cough, sneeze or laugh without being in a lot of pain
