It's three weeks today and OH's first day back at work. So far so good but am not really sure how much I should be doing? I want to be able to go out with the pram but not really sure how far I should dare venture, especially as the area i live in is quite hilly.

If you had a section, how long did you leave it before going out on your own with the pushchair? Did you overdo it? I'm getting a bit cheesed off with being so restricted and Im sure cabin fever is setting in!

I went out with the pram at about 3 weeks on my own and I live at the bottom of hill at a dead end :talkhand: But I just took it slowely. the first time I came back I felt it that night but I was ok the next time I went out. As long as you know when to much is you should be fine and the lovely weather will do you both the world of good

it was about 3-4 weeks after my c section i went for a wwalk to the prk and then had to walk back up th hill but i tokk it slowly so just take your own time and you should be ok

I was walking all over after mine, and I was driving again after about 4 days  :shhh:

Saying that, it's only cos Ryan stayed in hospital and we were backwards and forwards there every day so I didn't really have the time to take it easy

Like the others have said, just take your time and you should be fine :D

thanks ladies, i had a fair wander today but did take it nice and easy, think ill wait another couple of days before i dare venture down to town and as its one steep hill back up to the house.

I had a fab c.section and brilliant recovery and was out and about with the pram after abour 5 days...... but I did feel really well and walked at my own pace......

take things slowly and only do as much as you feel able...... perhaps have a wonder somewhere and then stop for a coffee and take a rest...
