Something I noticed over the last few days is how Sam reacts and will actually jump around when A comes in from work etc..

mentioned this to m/w today and she agrees that babies do actually recognise the voices of their dads too and that when they are born they will instantly recognise dad from the voice :D

I just thought it was sooo cute that Sam gets excited when daddy comes home already.

Has anyone else noticed this? :)

Nope - I think I actually have to give B permission to talk though, then maybe the baby would recognise his voice!

:rotfl: I think if the cast of the O.c were at the birth though the baby would recognise the voices :D

(seriously though, at the moment, no I dont this (s)he moves to B's voice, but Ive never really paid attention to if (s)he is moving when he is talking - Ill try to take not from now on!

Dylan seems to react to his Daddy's voice if he has been out for a while or I have been out for a while.

I think he knows his Daddy's voice

Haha....maybe thats why Libby is constantly wriggling  we live together, work together, socialise together......she's always hearing daddy's voice!

She not moving now and daddy is still in bed  hmmmmmmm.......

......they played a great game last night.........C didn't go out in the end  , so he was watching a film, I was knackered so I lay on the sofa with my head resting on his leg.....Libby started dancing (I think it was irish dancing) on the left side of my bump, so C put his hand there, she started dancing on his hand, he then pushed into the bump and she pushed his hands back, so he kept doing it, and everytime she kept pushing back against his hand :D what a clever girl! C had tears in his eyes...think it made him feel that little step closer to it being real......altogether now.....awwwww

Sorry to hijack (why do I always babble on :wall: )

I notice that baby seems to know when dad is touching my tum - gave a reet big kick this am :rotfl:

alice allways used to dance around to rhcp when she was in my bump, and now if i play them it stops any screaming tantrum, and she just lays and listens to it.

Ethan was lying on a nerve the other day so I put Kylie on for him, he moved

Gave him a talking to after I finished work yesterday and said he can come out anytime he wants now, sooner the better!

baby rusks definitely recognises daddys voice, and daddy has got this really annoying (but funny!) habit of blowing raspberrys on my tummy and he moves like anything then!! :rotfl: poor thing he'll be scarred for life!!

:rotfl: A does that, Sam doesn't respond though, think he's quite scared or very unimpressed! :rotfl:
