Building my art portfolio (help needed)

Hi girls

A few of you might have seen the thread with a pic of a painting that I that I did awhile ago.

I'm hoping to start an art course in sept but first I have to have an interview with the teacher to get onto the it, so I'm currently working on a portfolio to show my work.

I'm in desperate need of some inspiration as the area around here is very limiting so if any of you have any pics that you'd like me to have a go at please feel free to email them to me a pm with the pic link or email me at [email protected]. the pics can be of anything you like, pets, people, scenenic views I'll give anything a try, or if you don't have a pic but have a idea for an painting or drawing just let me know and I'll see what I can come up with.

If I use one of your pics or ideas I'll happily send you a print of it or the original.

ooooh i haven't picked up a paintbrush in years and am very envious! How about those lovely pop art style portraits in block colours? I love those, you could do a series of the same pic in different colours? Good luck whatever you finally decide on...

Hi all thanks for your support.

Not sure when I'll get an interview yet I've gotto talk to the college, but it will proberly be in the next couple of months (hopefully I can get plenty of pieces done by then ).

Just to let you all know I have got all your emails and I promise I WILL reply soon, been busy working on PP's pic which I have just finished.

So will get started on another soon.

I hope PP doesn't mind (please pm me if you do and I will remove it )but I thought I show you the sketch I've done from the pics she sent me.

As the boys have broke the memory card from my camara I've had to scan it , thats why it has the line through the middle (it isn't on the actual pic) as I had to scan it in 2 parts a edit them together.

The actuall size is 10"x12"
