Anybody got one?

Im lookin at getting a Bugaboo Bee and was just wondering if people had any reviews on them

xx

My SIL has just got a chameleon and the woman in the shop said that the Bee was rubbish and not to buy it! I know a few people with chameleons though and they love them.

The Bee is one of Which magazine's Best Buys (was just having a nosy). I don't have it (too expensive!) but a couple of friends do. It's more highly rated than the Chameleon in the independent reviews there.

We've got a Gecko (the Chameleon's little brother), it was on special offer, as it's being discontinued soon (parts available until end 2010) and was a display model. The Bee wouldn't be as interesting to us, as it's more for town use and doesn't have all the off-road features.

I think you can't compare the Chameleon to the Bee as they're designed for completely different purposes.

I was just looking at the bee. I no its a good make and stuff. But it doesnt look sturdy at all to me, and the wheels are tiny. I sometimes think the cheaper makes are better like Graco and I love silver cross. Thats just my opinion though (:

I wouldn't spend the money on it to be honest- by the time baby is 6 months old I can pretty much guarantee you will have bought a cheap stroller that folds up and down easily and is really lightweight.

I have a Mamas and Papa Pliko but I hardly ever use it- I use my Ziko 50% of the time and a sling the other 50%

I echo what Jade has said i wouldnt spend a fortune on a fancy pram system i went for the silvercross 3d which cost £260 which was cheap compared to a lot of prams and i am still using it but would love a lightweight stroller but im stubborn so will use the one ive already got because i paid a lot of money for it.

Sorry to hijack. :D

I have a cameleon and love it! I also have one of those lighter strollers but prefer Cameleon as it's more versatile. For example, you can push Cameleon with one hand only (if you have to hold an umbrella or your LO in your other arm!).

Two of my close friends have bees and they love them too. They are much smaller. I struggle with Cameleon on a bus at times as it's pretty wide. They navigate very well too. They are great as they fold (which cameleon doesn't). They don't have a separate carrycot for a newborn like Cameleon does. I love the way they look - I would definitely go for red (we have cameleon in sand).

I don't know how much bees cost but cameleon has been worth every penny!

Another Cameleon user here, I too love it. I have a lightweight maclaren too but the bugaboo is much more comfy for Rudy, so easy too push and as baby magic mentioned that is great when you have to hold LO in one hand and push with the other. I've heard good things about the Bee from a few mums I know and the pink one is cute if your having a girl, I'm glad I didn't get one though because I have a very big baby that wouldn't be able to move properly in it.
