How much does your baby bring back after a bottle?
Elexia has days were she wont bring anything back then days were she will bring back quite abit back x x

Sophia is a little like this, but they think she has reflux and we are really careful after feeding her to keep her up as much as we can and not lie her on her back for a while after feeding. They are talking about infant gaviscon for her but we are just seeing how she goes for now as she is gaining weight fine. I thunk if Elexia is gaining well then I wouldnt worry about it if it doesn't bother her x

Thanks Laura, poor Sophia, she hasnt half been through the mill :hugs:
Does Sophie prefer to be on her side? And does she get a lot of hiccups?
How are you sweetie, how did your scan go? x x

Kayden isn't sick very often but i've heard they bring back up what their tummy's cant handle.

What formula are you using?

I've been reading up on problems with SMA (we're using it but think its making Kayden constipated) & i've came across alot saying SMA is bad for sickness & constipation.

I want to move to aptimal but dont want to do anything til i've spoken to HV.

Hope it clears up soon

Grace varies between nothing and a lot lol we're on hipp organic milk. OH bought big box of aptimal the other week cause we'd run out and she threw up most of every bottle so we stopped using it as soon as we could get to the shops lol
Grace also gets the hiccups after most feeds, it seems to be once she's burped enough she gets the hiccups.......haven't been able to do anything about the very loud farts yet :)

Im using cow and gate, she not filled a nappy for two days now so im wondering whether he little tummy is too full x x

Yeah M2A she does get lots of hiccups and prefers her side too, actually prefers her front to anything.

We started her on Cow and Gate but she was so windy and didn't really like the taste, switched to SMA and she prefers the taste but is still windy and only poos every 24 hours sometimes longer and it's greeny!

The HV is happy for us to switch to comfort milk so think I'm gonna try that as the Colief had helped her lots, I think she just seems to have a little trouble digesting the formula x

Woohoo Elexia has finally filled her nappy after 2 days and seems to have settled, not gave her a bottle yet so i shall see what she brings back then x x

Rhea varies too. both the boys were on SMA and seemed to b more sicky than Rhea. I have her on actimel and am liking it she seems to wind better than the boys too although this could all b just because she is her not them !! and not actually b the milk but few of the other mums i know have swithed from sma to actimel with latest babies and have found the same. xxx

I changed from SMA to Actimel today, so far Kayden has only had 2 bottles of it but he's not been nearly as grumpy since so fingers crossed.

:)

Jack still brings a tiny bit back up about every 3rd bottle. He's getting alot better now though and it's mostly just a dribbly bit. He has Cow & Gate and has never had any problems with it x

My daughter is 16 wks tomorrow. She has within the last few weeks started to throw up quite a bit after bottles. The wee bit directly after bottles doesn't bother me, its the throwing up 2 and 3hrs after a bottle that got me worried. I brought her to doctors and was given infant gaviscon. This reduced the throwing up but didnt eradicate it as i thought it would so I returned to docs.

Her milk has been changed to anti reflux milk, the vomitting has got much less but again has not fully disappeared. The word reflux has been being thrown around since she was a week old so I have been conscious to make sure she is kept upright after feeds etc, however I have learned from the leaflet that comes with the anti reflux milk that she shouldn't be laid down flat OR directly upright after a feed (this puts pressure on stomach and also causes throwing up!) I have resorted to putting her into her bouncer at an angle in between laid flat and upright...

The hiccups is another way for a baby to get rid of wind so its always a good thing when they have them...
