Boiled Water

Hi,

Just wondered how often you give boiled water & how many oz?

If you're breastfeeding you don't need to give water as he's getting everything he needs from your milk. The foremilk is watery & thirst quenching.

Once he starts on solids you can offer him a bit of boiled water during meals or if it's hot & he seems thirsty.

i give it if lelands waking or asking for food way too early ( like 2 hours after feeding ) and he takes as much as he wants , usually before he realises its not milk and tries to spit it out ! i also give it if i know his a lil constiptated .

I bottle fed and gave my baby water in between bottles. Now i give it at meal times. She would take what she wanted.

I think the only time you need to give boiled water if you're breastfeeding is in hot weather I think
