Blender Help

Can someone help me with blending food! I have a cheap hand blender and i seem to be getting more food on me than left in the bowl! Lol I've just walked out the kitchen orange!

I wish i'd not been such a skin-flint and bout the one from tesco with the attachment to keep the mess in!

Any ideas? I'm fed up of cleaning food off the walls! Lol

Umm maybe buy a deep jug and blend in that, that may stop it going everywhere

I got one and put a tea towel over the bowl as best I could. It catches most of it, but you can't see what you're doing!
Tbh I gave up after a while and brought one with the cover
