baby weight gain

hi all i was just woundering how fast your little ones have put weight on after birth ryans birth weight was 7lb 10oz and he went down to 7lb 2oz he was weighed yesterday and he weighed 7lb 7 1/2oz and he is 2 weeks old now so im abit worried that hes not putting weight on as fast as he should.
he never seems to stop feeding he is mainly breast fed only has about 2 bottles aday to help fill him up. do you think hes not getting enough from me should i give up on breastfeeding him and put him on the bottle full time i would love to keep breastfeeding as i did it for 16 months with my daughter so i wanted my son to be breastfed for at least a year.

please help i just want him to be getting enough to drink and i don't think im giving him enough from my breast.

As long as he's gaining and seems happy and well, then don't worry. All babies gain weight at different rates so try not to worry

Amelia weighed 7lb5 at birth. Went down to 6lb 11 at 4 days. At 10 days old she weighed 7lb.
The midwife is due back this morning to weigh her again. So I'll let you know what her weight is at two weeks old in the next hour or so!

All babies are different. Angel went through phases. Sometimes she'd only put on 3oz a week sometimes 7oz. They vary.

well she's just been and weighed her and she's 7lb 5. so she is back to her birth weight at exactly 2 weeks
