Avator sizes

Ok,

what is the normal limit to a avator size, ive seen someones on here where is humongus.. and it makes my screen go way over and its so annoying.. i cant see what anyone says and i have to use scroll to look at it..

i know its been asked before, but when i try and put one on it tells me its too big.. so how come others can put big ones on..

Well I hope you dont mean me! Mine was bigger than the permitted size and I've been meaning to change it, I have now.

They're allowed to be 100x100 pixels but if you use Photobucket you can link to a bigger one.

On my laptop the screen is fine but on my PC I have to scroll sideways all the time. It seems to be the same even when there are no big avatars or sigs on the page though

that scrolling annoyance is why we ask people to keep their avatar to a reasonable size and why the 100x100 limit exists, anyone failing to adhere will feel the wrath of the mods

The limit is 100 x 100 but a few pixels over is fine too
