Hi,

I have never been able to put my daughter into a routine during the day. She has started almost never taking a nap. She may get 25 minutes on a good day...

Anyone else like this or do I have the least sleeping child in the whole universe and beyond?

Aimee was like that and it used to drive me mad. She did it from about 9 months till she was over 1. Some days she would only have 20 minutes then spend the rest of the day being grumpy because she was tired. She also wasn't sleeping at night and used to have about 10 hours but wake constantly all night. I sorted out her night time sleep by controlled crying and she started sleeping more in the day. She now has 1 hour at dinner time and is much happier. Does she sleep well at night?

Obviously I haven't got an 11 month old but we are also having nap issues so i have been on the Baby Whisperer forums which have a napping section and there is so much advice. It does seem that there are often napping problems around the 11 month mark, check it out and you may get a few tips

I have a 6 week old who wont nap!!! She fights sleep all day long...cant complain as she goes down at 6pm, and only wakes for feds at 10.30pm and 4am.
She is just so nosey, and needs constant stimulation in the day!

I am going to check out the baby whisperer site tho, cheers Skatty xx

Might check out this baby whisperer site.

My son is 10 months old. Until last week he had 2 daytime naps one at about 10.00am and one at 2.00pm - However, he has now stopped napping at 2.00 which means from 4.00pm onwards he is tired and whiney. Will see if any adice on baby whisperer site.

She sleeps better since I stopped reastfeeding and introduce formula.

We did the control crying thing but had no success with it on her...
