 Finn is too big for his baby bath - he loves to splash about, but keeps knocking his head on the top and stubbing his toes at the bottom :) .Can anyone recommend a decent seat type thing or anything so as I can put him into the proper bath.Cheers!!!

I just layed Damien in the big bath whilst supporting his head and using the free hand to wash him. Bit awkward at first but easy to get used to. Then when he could hold his head properly I used to lay him in without holding himnand although he got water in his eyes a couple of times from turning his head to the side, he isn't scared of it anymore as he's used to it, and doesn't turn his head to the side anymore as he knows what will happen!

these are the best things harley just lays on it and kicks :)

and dior usues it to sit on so u get loads of use with them i used to hae one of the seats that they lay on but u still hae to hold them as they roll off but with the sponge you dont need to hold them :)

I just put Brody in a couple of inches of water in the big bath...he loves it and ends up kicking his legs so much I get soaked!

I always used a bath support because I found bathing Ky so hard with one hand whilst holding him with the other - He was so tiny and slippery! lol

I started off with this bath support and it was one of my god sends

You can get them from Mothercare http://www.mothercare.com/icat/batbabybathtime

He then moved up to the type you sit in, like a little throne, but now he can sit up unaided, he just sits/lies/splashes around in the bath like a lil fish!

Hope you find something that makes bathing easier for you.

:) Thanks for the replies - I think that I defo need something to support him because I suffer with carpal tunnel syndrome quite bad and I am so scared of dropping him!
I like the look of both of those, the sponge one is a really reasonable price too!

Dionne -when you mentioned sponge I imagined you sucking the water from it - pictured it ever so well!! :rotfl:

hahaha you girls never forget. i did though i used to suck it loads kris used to go mad say dont you dare suck it. il find a pic of Harley on his :) i got it from tesco £6 :)

Ky was in his bath seat until he was 6 months, then I had to change it. If he could have sat up properly by 6 months I wouldn't have bothered with the next seat we got as we only used that for a month or so. But I've kept the first one for baby number 2 as it was so useful.

Thats the bath support in his baby bath.
