Any successful sweep stories at 39 weeks?

Had a sweep today at dead on 39 weeks.. she said she could feel the head and membranes and able to conduct the sweep but my cervix is still long. Anyone have any experiences? I had a sweep at 41 weeks with my first and went into labour the next day but I think cervix was short that time.

i had a swwp at 39 weeks , they managed to do it although my cervix wasnt particularly favourable. I had another one 3 days later and it had improved but still a way off. i had another 3 days later again and then went into labour the next morning on my due date exactly. The sweeps might have helped , i dont know.
