Hi girls i wanna make a really nice dinner tonight..i've got some lovely salmon fillets so was gonna do those in tinfoil in the oven with some lemon juice but do you think this would go with roast sweet potato? or shall i just do normal potatos?

Also lat time i roasted sweet tattys they didnt go nice and crispy..are they supposed to crisp up?? thanks ppl i am a shite cook!! lol

I find sweet potato doesn't roast well.

I'd stick with plain old boiled pots if they are decent ones. Esp if new pots. Knob of butter on them and served with salmon is all you need.

I find the only way to roast sweet potatoes is to do them kinda like wedges. But even then they dont always behave themself.

Thanks only problem is stewart doesn't like boiled potatos and i dont have the nice new ones in but i can make nice baked potato with cream cheese..that will go ok wont it??
