hi - everyone would like some opinions please, am thinking of getting a baby puree book and storage pots sauces etc of hers, but are the recipes any good and were youre kids fussy eaters? Oliver is on Hipp organic jars and is quite fussy, just really need advice/ opinions. Thank yous :D

I have some of her books, I prefer the one that is from baby to toddler (cant remember the name  )

I would recomend Amazon or Play as they are cheaper than buying them in Boots etc.

Will regards to her pots... I just bought little tupperwear boxes as they do the same

I use the 'Top 100 baby purees' book and recommend it, some of the recipes are pretty obviuos but most of them are really good, easy to follow etc, Matilda has liked everything SO FAR!!!!!, it starts with ideas recommended from 6 months and goes upto 12+ months.

I bouht the mouli and used it twice. The weaning trays were OK but DON'T PUT THM IN THE DISWASHER! I did to my cost.

The books are really good though :)

Hi,

I've got the Complete Baby & Toddler Recipie book by Annabelle Karmel. I used it from the pureeing stage and I'm still using it now.

I can't recommend her books highly enough, they're healthy recipies and very easy to follow.

My son loves his food and I'm sure a lot of it was to do with introducing him to a wide range of flavours and fruit and veg at first stage weaning.

I found I couldn't get the lids on the weaning trays, they're supposed to be improved now though. I've kept them all regardless and will use them for my 2nd baby.

You can just use normal ice cube trays.

I have got one of her books called super foods for babies and children. It's actually a really good book and might be better than the puree book because I see your son nearly 11 months old and so probably won't be eating puree foods for that much longer. If you become a member(it's free) of the website there are some good recipes on there too. I have got the ramekin dishes and freezer pots and I have also got freezer food cube trays but they arn't the Annabel Karmel ones. It's all worth getting in my opinion though :D

This is a link to the book I have got but her other books are probably just as good. I actually ordered mine from WHSmiths online and then picked it up from the store(it worked out cheaper than buying it in the store).

I love the Superfoods book and use it religiously! One recommendation - when trying to find weaning ice cube trays I wanted the Annabel Karmel ones and couldn't find them - as I needed them quickly I just bought a pack of two cheap ones from Asda for 69p because they were cheap and flimsy so easy to pop the cubes out when they were frozen (just try popping them out of hard plastic ones...). They are fab! I bought more because they cost next to nothing and are perfect for freezing purees :)

Yes, I've tried using the normal hard plastic ice cube trays and it's been a nightmare trying to get them out again! I haven't been able to find any other soft plastic ones apart from the AK ones.
